Lined woven straw carryall with leather straps.
Handwoven market tote purchased in Bali approximately 8+ years ago, featuring intricate geometric weave work in natural and black-dyed straw with slim black leather shoulder straps and a softly structured silhouette.
The weave pattern has a beautiful graphic rhythm that feels somewhere between traditional craft and early 1980s resort minimalism. Substantial enough for daily use while still lightweight, with an oversized shape that sits especially well against linen, denim, cotton shirting, and sun-faded neutrals.
A genuinely useful piece with the kind of texture and irregularity that newer reproductions rarely capture. Fully lined interior, pristine - never used. Purchased in Bali in the late 2010s and likely made locally using traditional woven techniques adapted for export market totes.
